Interactive Technology in Education (ITK) –conference is the largest conference in Finland related to information and communication technology in educational use.

This is an English speaking collaborative space to:
- gather English speaking social media people in Finland
- gather ideas/brainstorming to present Finnish social media and learning experiences to English speaking participators of ITK09
- make from all the presentations at least a short abstract in English.

Minddomo is used for constructing a mind map about the whole event. We are trying to create a picture where we have basic structure about the different sub-projects and tasks with some detail about the roles and resources needed.

Ok, it's time to volunteer.

I've been working here and there with different issues, and learning more about social media. This far I've been wondering what would be usefull to the group in my experiences - and here it is! Once again I'm on the fabulous position to learn, now it is time to learn proper english :)

ALL? Probably not, but hopefully some. I'm taking specialization studies to brush up my english at JAMK at the moment and this would do great exercise for me - and I think we would get those abstracts back well finished from the teachers.

What do you think of this?

Besides that, I have invited Rebekah Rousi from Digital Culture-master program at the Uni of Jyväskylä to join us. Rebekah will be participating to the event 10.2. live at Jyväskylä. She is native Australian, familiar with social media and quite exited about Sometu!
